NEXT MEETING: Mon., May 8, 2023, 5:20-6:30pm, Menifee Library, 28798 La Piedra Rd.

The Menifee Bridging the Divide Group has been holding regular monthly meetings at the new Menifee Library on La Piedra. The meetings are free and open to the public (18 and up). We have also expanded to include social events and get-togethers. Please consider joining us!

Our regular monthly meetings now have a set format: a 5-minute topic presentation, followed by a full-group discussion. Our most recent discussions have been on Critical Race Theory, and in the months prior to that, learning to recognize media bias on all sides.

July 11, 2022 Menifee Library

Menifee Bridging the Divide meets the second Monday of every month, and we ask that you arrive at 5:20pm, so we can get started right at 5:30. We use the time immediately preceding the meeting as a planning period, so chairs will be provided for you to wait just outside the room if you arrive earlier than 5:20. Participants do not have to live in Menifee; we only ask that you be at least 18 years old to attend.

Next social event: TBD. See MEETINGS tab for details.

WE BELIEVE THAT …

We firmly believe that we all rely on each other to make Menifee a safe and happy place to live and work.

WHEN WE LISTEN …

We also believe that our life satisfaction is greater when we listen to others with the goal of understanding and appreciating them.

WE BUILD TRUST.

We ALL have something of value to add to our community. And we need to build back trust in one another.
